With a progressive move in the late '60s, Dewey pushed the envelope with all of his sub 9ft. transition shapes. The PERFORMER SQUAREBACK was grouped with a solid line-up that included the Strato Mini-Feather, Feather Fastback, & SKI. The SQUAREBACK utilized the Performer name utilizing the popularity of that model as things moved shorter. Ranging between 7’0″ - 8’6″, this single fin offers a full-bodied template outline, so it will still catch waves even though it isn’t a longboard. Its template outline is similar to the PERFORMER but the slightly more modern characteristics of the transition era (S-deck, & hard edge in the slightly modified diamond tail). Time to get your RETRO on!!
