Product Details
These heirloom quality bone china mugs are decorated with humorous illustrations depicting more than 50 of the central characters from 16 of Dickens’s major works. The central characters are drawn in witty detail on the mug and are each depicted with significant details: a parasol, a cricket bat, a suckling pig, top hats and mob caps, birdcages, and baskets, a parrot, and much, much more.
Dickens’s works that are illustrated are The Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, The Old Curiosity Shop, Barnaby Rudge, A Christmas Carol, Martin Chizzlewit, Dombey and Son, David Copperfield, Bleak House, Hard Times, Little Dorrit, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, Our Mutual Friend, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
