This set of eight engraved cards and envelopes are of the highest quality—the stock is heavy, just the right shade of cream, with an exquisitely engraved quill and inkwell. The quill is navy blue, to match the paper lining the envelope. The inkwell is a metallic gold, and, since the image is engraved not printed, raised. Both the quill and the inkwell are minutely detailed; it’s possible to see the hinge, the clip, and the rim of the well. Made in Belgium, this is Old World craftsmanship at its best.
Eight flat cards and 8 lined envelopes, 4" x 6", packaged in a gray or blue paper "pochette."
