Why We Love It
We've always had a soft spot for stick pin conversions because we love seeing a beautiful antique given a second life. This piece is a perfect example, especially since the original pin itself was thoughtfully repurposed into the shank, keeping the history of the gold intact. The buttercup meets snowflake design of the head is lovely- it has that delicate, ornate charm that's so hard to find in modern pieces. While the original stone was likely swapped out at some point, we think this exceptional transitional cut diamond is a fantastic upgrade and provides a bright sparkle while still honoring the ring's heritage by being a hand-cut stone.
